Our Story

From Singapore, we are a group of avid travelers and culture enthusiasts that shares a deep love for Thailand. We did not just explore ordinary places and tourist attractions. Instead, we were seasoned adventure seekers, each having our unique experiences and tales from the heart of Thailand.

We noticed that many Singaporeans / foreigners love visiting Thailand, but they rarely ventured beyond Bangkok, missing out on the genuine culture the kingdom offers. We felt there was so much more to explore and understand about the Thai culture than just “cheap shopping, massages and temples”. We all agreed on the one thing which allowed us to be able to explore Thailand like we did: Being able to speak the language. The ability to communicate in Thai opened doors to richer experiences.

Our diverse group, comprising linguists, polyglots, and even engineers, united to establish ThaiBridge. This academy aims to help foreigners foster deeper connections with Thai culture. We start with teaching the language, as we firmly believe that speaking the mother tongue of the locals is the only way for making meaningful interactions and for truly immersing oneself in another country.

But our goal extends beyond just language instruction. We aspire to cultivate a community where members exchange their Thai adventures, travel recommendations, and cultural insights.

Our Vision

Our aim is to be an academy which helps our students to be prepared for their next culture immersion and conversation in Thailand. We cater to everyone from all backgrounds and different personal agendas to learn the language, be it whether you are looking to learn the language for holiday purposes, business discussions or to communicate with your foreign partner. As long as you are eager to learn and excited to pick up a new language, we welcome you with open arms.

For now, we operate online, but as we grow, we might open a physical school if there is demand for it. Most importantly, we're building a close-knit community at ThaiBridge, where everyone supports and learn from each other, even after they've become alumni.
